  THE THREE R's

What is waste management?

 The first R s is Reduce 

Reduce means process of using thing that is no longer need rather than having them stay in heaps or landfills will reduce the amount of landfills in the world and reduce the global warming.Reduce is the best way to manage the waste in our surrounding like a dish cloth instead using of paper towels. 

The second R's is Reuse  
 Reuse is to use something again instead of throwing it away to the garbage dump.Reusing keeps new resources from being used for a short period of time.Notebooks coffee cups, cloth sacks and a washable plates are example s of reusable materials.Sometimes reusable materials give new ideas and refreshes our mind to new things.Reusing materials also gives or introduces new ideas needed by humans.Also it enhances the physical habit of the people in order to make the surrounding and be more appreciable.It also helps our minds It helps our mind to be creative by reusing and enhancing the use object to create a new nice product. 
The third R s is Recycle 
Recycle is to turns items into a new object instead of throwing them in the trash.And recycling is the third  best way to conserve  the waste in our surrounding . Newspaper, cans, plastics bottles, are easy to recycle,Recycling is the that can help the earth to decrease the heat coming from the sun and also not totally destructed the ozone layer because of our air pollution,Recycling can help also to our livelihood like a cans you can recycle them to anew  objects and sell it to other people .There is so many to recycle in our surrounding.And recycling help our nature.

Waste management is the collection, disposal, managing and monitoring waste materials. Waste management  is a distinct practice from resources which focus on the delaying rate of consumption of natural resources.All waste materials whether they are solid, liquid, gas or radioactive are fall within the waste management.There are three R's that help on reducing waste and conserving resources.

IMPORTANCE OF WASTE MANAGEMENT
                   Waste management is important  for us.It is a big help in our country because it is done by recycling reuse and reducing our garbage or waste.It does not only aims to manage our waste but it is environmentally friendly and it is very important in the lives of Filipinos and also the other country because it reduce pollution, floods, landslides etc.that most of us, sometimes encounter this problems.For example:leaves, waste of animals, and skin of fruits or any other organic materials can be made us fertilizer that are essential to plants.                    Waste materials accumulate when they are not properly disposed of.They become a threat to human health or local aesthetic, the environment and also in the natural world.In order to prevent these things from happening, our wastes must be disposed properly.There are different waste of properly disposing of waste materials and one way is by composting biodegradable wastes and the other way is through recycling. Materials may undergo change when they are used.When they no longer serve the purpose for which they are made, they are eventually discarded.Wastes can form cause litter and they also pollute the surrounding when left unattended doing this method of waste management we can have a healthy and non-hazardous.                     Waste management for non-hazardous residential and institutional waste in metropolitan areas is usually the responsibility of local government authorities, while management  for non-hazardous to commercial and industrial waste is usually the responsibility of the generation.The basic concept has remain the corner stone of most waste minimization strategies.                     We can help and save our mother earth by doing waste management and by encouraging others to also to practice waste management Philippines not only a beautiful country. It is also very rich in natural resources.What we Filipinos don't realize is that most of our natural resources are in danger of being lost forever, if we don't start caring and being concerned in our environment.Global environmental concerns include population explosion, the green house effect, the depletion of ozone layer and precipitation or acid rain and forest destruction.The solution of environmental problems is not only the responsibility of governments but all who have take in the only known planet that have a life the earth.                                                                                                 by: Lorabelle Barredo
                                                            WASTE MANAGEMENT ACT  Waste management is very important in our daily lives.As you know that waste constitute an important part of environment to which man is continuously exposed.And as you know that waste problem in our country today is one of the major concern of our Government, out of this problem caused by it like water and air pollution, various diseases, floods and landslides.This problem mention could have been solved if we only have proper waste management.However, a lot of us doesn't contribute for the welfare of our society.                 Our Government made a constitutional law about waste management that is also called an ecological solid waste management it is because they see the risk and effect of our country.And according to Republic Act 9003 this act shall be known as the ecological solid waste management an act providing for solid waste management program creating the necessary mechanism and encourage you greater private sector participation in solid waste management.But nowadays, as we know that the people didn't follow our law so if they are not following in this institution the biggest consequences will give to our country.          Solid waste management is the way of helping our mother land, of showing concern to our neighborhood.Our goal here is not to impress somebody when we dispose properly,but rather be ourselves and use our minds to help our society become a better place to live in.It is an act so we must hand down from generation to generation in order to start an effective and clean environment for all man kind 
IT IS NOT YET TOO LATE FOR US TO CHANGE OUR OLD HABITS. IT IS A  CHALLENGE FOR US TO BE RESPONSIBLE ENOUGH FOR OUR OWN GOOD!!!!!

Today we all know that we  have a different  kinds of waste, some of them we can get money,some of them  its always throw to the trash.

                         Many things have been said  of the waste management ,"it is can get money,some of them are useful.Its a many splendor  thing ."its a many sided task.Its a rewards if we diligent  to keep some useful waste . why we give important  to our waste? The answer  you give  will  your best to clean and responsible to your own waste because  of our health .waste is came from us because after we used  them we threw anywhere.  

                         We say that waste  its also a career because you can get money and you can get food like:beggar that they open the trash can and they see and bottle of water,cans and they will get the small food from other people.Its also job if not performed will we cannot eat and we cannot buy what we want in our daily needs.

                         We hope you know how to take charge of your waste because it attracted to see our clean beautiful places around us.Our number one concerned about waste is how you keep your surrounding clean and how will you segregate your trash and also you learn to get money from the trash .

                           I can assure you that your clean surroundings our fresh air, no insect were flying around, no waste you see on the street and must of all the people are health.If  we do not do this things will affect to us.

CAUSE

              Nowadays we can see the different kinds of waste, at the river, lands, air and around us.Waste are the main causes of all disease that the you will get from our waste.If the people swim in the dirty river they will drink the water from the river and they will get different kinds of diseases like skin rushes or skin diseases and it can affect to the human health.When we walk on the street we see the different waste that the insect eat them so the insects when they fly, they go to our food so the food we eat will become dirty

they get sick because she/he also eat what insect eat from the waste .When we throw are waste anywhere its brought us sick because of the wrong doing of the human they did not realize that the mother earth is now dirty and polluted because of the attitude for being a responsible to their waste.

EFFECT

               There's a lot of effect if we do not dispose are garbage in proper place because if all the waste  are being mix together it will produced leachate  in the river bank event in the creeks.leachate  is called for the polluted water when it comes to our drink water it is not safe for us to drink water that come from deep well.The air also not safe for us to breathe in because its being polluted to. we can see a dirty places when we are  roaming around but no one can notice the piece of plastic ,papers, bottles,cans and  etc.We need to prevent throwing garbage  anywhere because it can develop a problem and we are affected we the result. We can breathe a polluted air brought buy the smoke coming from vehicles.Our ozone layer also become thinner because of  their burning plastic.During rainy season we have many calamity that have happen  in our  society like floods because  of our drainage was stock because of the waste.So that the people is the one who take care for their environment.Our God given us all this things because we can get our food ,water and air that we need in our daily lives.If did not give important to our mother earth  we lost what we have right now.

           This waste management is a reminder to all who will not care to our surrounding that can reflect in your health and to the young ones.

        Now I hope you learn this things because its really affect to us.

PROPER WASTE DISPOSAL

                God created this world for us we have to appreciate,take care and clean it the throwing of solid waste is one of the biggest problem of all country in the world.Our country have no proper waste disposal to throw the garbage like plastics,cans and everything in good ways.This is the cause of contaminating water and soil .If the population growth their could be a serious and permanent damage to our nature.Unfortunately mans activities continue to degrade his own environment.We must face the waste management and bring the activities in balance with the natural world.This problem can't give as consequences if we only have our proper waste disposal.

                  If  there's no cooperation between government and people our country won't change  or will not improve regarding to the environment issues,It will be the same as now and tomorrow and our life will be on danger.The problem we face will become higher if we cannot start to prevent the cause of wastes.We cannot share or show the good influence to our generation and people in our society.We cannot finish the problem  situation as we can in the  simply way because there is no unity.

                  Everyday we are educated by our teacher, parents , janitor and many more about the issue in nature especially waste disposal but they forget it.Even at school and our community there is always an abiding rules for wastes that there are three ways to segregate our garbage  and put it to the trash can namely reduce, reuse,recycle but you and I can still see the waste that are scattered  cause by throwing their garbage anywhere.Is the trash are the smallest thing that is like microorganisms?fungi?bacteria?that we cannot see by our naked eye because we didn't care for our environment what matter it happen.Have you try to get that piece of paper when you are roaming around?And thanks for the people that make their effort trying to fix everything and handling with care so let us follow them as role good model to our fellowman

              The one type of proper waste disposal is the curbside pickup or garbage track.Everyday there is a curbside track to get the garbage in every barangay they pick up at the garbage site .There are time or schedule in getting the trash its start to 6:00-10:00 am and in the afternoon 4:00-6:00 pm

              If i were to choose i will prefer to use paper bag than plastics especially today we are using it anywhere when we buy our groceries or items they put it to the plastic bag but plastic is the major problem because it cannot be use as a composting rather than recycling.When we say proper waste disposal is to put the garbage in proper, right and suitable so let us start to prevent our waste we need your help can you join for this program about proper waste disposal i belie in the saying that:" KAPIT BISIG PARA SA PAGLINIS NG PALIDID".
